We are now in our 15th season as we prepare for another football season here in the Midwest. The Great Plains Football League
is one of the premier leagues in the midwest, and one of the eldest leagues.
The Great Plains Football League was originally started in 1991 as the Windom Football League, which it remained through
the 1994 season. In 1995, the WFL changed it's name to the Great Plains Football League.
The Great Plains Football League is an amatuer/semi-pro/minor league adult tackle football league. It has or has had teams
in the following states; Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Nebraska, North Dakota, Missouri, South Dakota. It is one the
fastest growing leagues in the country.
